Mohamed Kusekwa

Founding Partner

Mohamed Kusekwa is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and a Founding Partner of Ironbridge Attorneys, where he focuses on Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Labour and Employment Law, Contract Management, Negotiation, and Legal Advisory.


He brings practical experience from both institutional legal practice and law firm environments. Before co-founding Ironbridge Attorneys, Mohamed served as Acting Deputy General Secretary and Legal Officer at the Tanzania Higher Learning Institutions Trade Union, where he advised on legal and governance matters, represented members in employment and labour disputes, drafted institutional legal instruments, and contributed to policy and regulatory development.


He also previously worked with Law Associates Advocates and Nexus Law Firm Advocates, gaining hands-on experience in litigation, legal research, drafting pleadings and contracts, preparing witnesses, managing court filings, settlement negotiations, client advisory, and trial preparation. His experience covers employment disputes, civil and commercial litigation, contracts, workplace relations, institutional governance, and strategic client representation.


Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Dodoma and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania. He has also undertaken training in digital forensics, electronic evidence handling and presentation for lawyers.
